Free forestry museum inside Beavers Bend State Park with wall murals, logging tools, and dioramas for a rained-out cabin day.

A small free museum inside Beavers Bend State Park and the only real indoor option when a Broken Bow cabin weekend gets rained out. Fourteen large murals tell the story of forests around the world, and the collection includes wood samples, logging tools and a petrified wood display. Kids like the dioramas and the antique logging equipment out front. It takes about forty-five minutes which is exactly the length of a passing Oklahoma thunderstorm. Free admission means it costs nothing to duck in while you wait for the weather to clear.
